Overview
Yağız Morova received his Ph.D. in Physics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2021. He also worked as a research assistant in the same department. His studies focused on solid-state laser applications of femtosecond laser inscribed devices and upconversion pumped fluoride-based thulium lasers. In 2021, he joined Koç University Surface Science and Technology Center (KUYTAM) team as a postdoctoral researcher. His research interests include development of novel infrared solid-state lasers and femtosecond laser structured photonic devices.
