The Department of Mathematics at Koç University, a leading foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education in Istanbul, Turkey, invites applications for post-doctoral positions starting from February 2019. The appointment will be for one year with a possible extension to three years. Successful candidates are required to have experience in teaching undergraduate courses and a strong research potential in one of the active research areas of the department which include algebraic geometry, analysis, combinatorics, geometric topology, mathematical physics, number theory, numerical analysis, partial differential equations, probability and stochastic processes, compressive sensing, inverse problems and imaging. The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The compensation package includes a comprehensive health insurance plan and shared housing (or partial rental subsidy).
