Koç University, a foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education in Istanbul, Turkey, invites applications for full-time faculty position of open rank in Plant Genetics (plant system biology, plant breeding, plant molecular biology, plant stress biology, plant microbe interaction, plant functional genomics, metabolomics and biotechnology, crop improvement, plant bioengineering). Research activities of the candidate can complement/synergize well with those in the College of Sciences, College of Engineering and The School of Medicine at Koç University. In particular, the candidate can collaborate with faculty members in the Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and Chemical and Biological Engineering as well as with various research centers such as Koç University Translational Medicine Research Center.

Successful candidates are expected to develop a vigorous and internationally competitive research program and to teach undergraduate- and graduate-level courses. The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. University housing or rental subsidy, and K-12 education subsidy will be provided.
