The Department of Mathematics at Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey, invites applications for a full-time faculty position of open rank. Applicants with a strong research potential in all areas of mathematics will be considered.
Post-doctoral experience is required for candidates at the Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates are expected to develop a vigorous and internationally competitive research program and to teach undergraduate- and graduate-level courses. The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Current research activities of the Mathematics Department are in algebraic geometry, inverse problems, combinatorics, geometric topology, mathematical physics, number theory, numerical analysis, partial differential equations, probability and stochastic processes.
