The Physics Department has organized amateur astronomy workshops during the summer of 2019. Fethi Mübin Ramazanoğlu, Yiğit Uysallı and Ekin Özgönül explained the basics of using a telescope to two separate groups of students over three sessions. They also observed various objects in the sky from planets to galaxies. Contact the Astronomy and Space Club or the Science Club if you want to attend any similar future events.
