Prof. Jochim is Professor of Experimental Physics at Heidelberg University. His research field is quantum and atomic physics in which they use ultracold atom clouds to understand how complex quantum systems behave. He is the recipient of two ERC grants on “Three Component Fermi gas in an optical lattice (3FLEX)” and “Quantum State Assembler (QuStA)”.
